Bike the Asheville Butterfly Trail

  • Asheville Visitors Center 36 Montford Avenue Asheville, NC, 28801 United States (map)

Cost: FREE

Learn about pollinator conservation on a family-friendly no-drop group ride along the Asheville Butterfly Trail.

At each of the three stations we visit, we will stop to learn about the butterfly on display and have the opportunity to take photos with the giant wings.

The entire route will be approximately 8.3 miles, all paved surfaces. The longest stretch of ride between stops will be 3.1 miles. See the route here

Please bring water, sunscreen, helmet, and a friend.

For those interested, we can go to The Hop S&W (downtown) after the ride for a little ice cream social! They are promoting Pollination Celebration! month with a special "Bees Knees" ice cream flavor.

Butterfly Tour Guide

Sandy Broadwill, a Bee City Asheville board member and bicycle adventurer, will lead the ride.
